So who are these gigsters?

We're just a few of the more confident and committed members from the monthly thrash. If you think that might be you, drop me a line. Like the thrashes, we try to be inclusive and not elitist. But we also like to put on a decent show, too. You'd have to be prepared to do a bit of rehearsing. Yes, we do rehearse. No, really.

The gigs we have in the diary as of 5th February:

  • Sunday Feb 16th from about 2.15pm to 3pm: the Old Folks' Tea in the Parish Hall at Our Lady Queen of All Creation in Hemel. Project manager: Kevin
  • Thursday 20 February: Winkwell thrash, no Hamish. Coordinators: Sue and Kevin
  • Saturday 22 February, 10.00 to 13.00: Busking/Leafletting for Ukes for Unicef
  • Saturday 29 February: Ukes for Unicef!!!
  • Tuesday 10th March 2020, 20.00-22.15: Little Chalfont Thrash-or-is-it-a-gig? Project Manager: Hamish
  • Thursday 12 March, 13.00: Active Living Club at Gilbert Burnet House, Long John, Bennetts End. Project manager: Sue
  • Tuesday 17 March: Flitwick Paddy's Night Old Folk Singalong. Project Manager: Hamish. Flitwick Village Hall, Dunstable Road, Flitwick MK45 1HP. From 19.30 with 2 x 45 min sets. Please arrive in time to have set up ready for the sound check at 19.15
  • Wednesday 18 March, 10.30-11.30: Age UK Living, Phyllis Courtnage House, Smithfields, Hemel HP2 5YN. Project manager tba
  • Monday 6th April, 13.30 The Centre on the Park Day Care Centre, 20-22 High St, Hemel Hempstead HP1 3AE. Project manager tba
  • Sunday 14th June, afternoon. Great Gaddesden Fete. Probably not. We're not quorate but perhaps BURP + ringers? Need a PM.
  • Saturday 18th July (afternoon): workshop in The Limelight, Aylesbury
  • Sunday 26th July (afternoon): Dacorum Steam Fayre, Potten End
  • Saturday 8th August (afternoon): Fishery Wharf Ukulele Day
  • Saturday 24th October (evening): Haynes annual soiree
